The Ilumento i-PIRS is a compact Passive Infrared (PIR) ceiling-mount sensor. Before installation, it can be configured as either an occupancy or vacancy sensor using a setup switch. Additionally, it can be set to adjust mode, providing maximum flexibility and allowing adjustments via the Project Management Cloud and app.

Connectivity:

The i-PIRS connects to the Power Data Bus (i-PDB350) using a CAT5e cable and the Device Interface (i-DI) bridge.

Ease of Installation:

The i-PIRS is easy to install. It is designed to fit in a standard round mud ring and a four-square electrical box. It can also be installed in open ceiling areas that do not require conduits or electrical boxes.

Configuration:

Installers can set the i-PIRS to occupancy or vacancy mode before installation to prevent accidental changes in the future. It also includes an (adjust) mode that enables setup through the Project Management Cloud and app, utilizing location services to select the most appropriate energy code for your area automatically.

Feedback LED:

The i-PIRS features a feedback LED behind the PIR lens, confirming the setup.

Sensor Coverage:

The passive infrared sensor has a coverage area of approximately 84 square meters (or 900 square feet).
