The ilumento i-KP is a single-gang Decora device designed to work with the ilumento lighting control system via the Power Data Bus. It is the most flexible low-voltage keypad available, offering configurations from one to ten buttons and an optional Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor for smaller rooms.

Connectivity:

The i-KP connects to the Power Data Bus i-PDB350 using CAT5e cable and the Device Interface i-DI bridge.

Ease of Installation:

The i-KP is straightforward to install as it is designed to fit in a standard single-gang US-style back box and uses standard Decora opening wall plates. Changing the button requires no special tools or removal of screws, and users can easily accomplish this without taking the keypad off the wall.

Feedback LED:

The i-KP provides feedback for button presses via backlit LEDs that softly illuminate the buttons when pressed. The LEDs can be programmed to function momentarily or interlock with other buttons for continuous feedback.

Sensor Coverage:

Button positions one through four can be replaced with a Passive Infrared (PIR) lens for in-room occupancy or vacancy control. This feature is ideal for smaller room applications that do not require a ceiling-mounted sensor.

Button Configuration:

The i-KP has ten (10) button positions, which can be configured in various combinations of small or large buttons to create layouts ranging from one (1) to ten (10) buttons. Additionally, single buttons can be swapped for different color options, allowing for layouts that include a red button for emergencies without making the entire keypad red.

Engraving Options:

Each i-KP ships in white with five large and two smaller buttons pre-engraved with common applications. Installers can create custom engravings during configuration and programming using the Project Management Cloud startup web and mobile app.

Wall Plate Options:

Both full Decora-style and reduced-opening wall plates are available in a single-gang configuration, allowing button options from one (1) to ten (10).

Color:

The i-KP is shipped with white textured buttons and a white single-gang wall plate. Additional button and plate colors are available in Black, Grey, and Red.

Protection:

All plastics and the PCB board are coated with a specialized treatment designed to resist degradation from oxide chemicals.
