Overview  
The Ilumento i-DI is an intelligent communication gateway that converts power and data from the i-PDB350 into a CAT5e cable. This allows for connecting keypads, sensors, and other future devices outside the cabinet.

Power Data Bus Connectivity
The Power Data Bus (PDB) simplifies connections within the cabinet, saving time and reducing messy wiring. This communication system transmits 24V DC power and data signals from the intelligent power supply.

Connections
The i-DI features two RJ45 CAT5e connections that allow for easy linking of keypads, sensors, or other devices to the i-PDB350.

Logic Protection  
The i-DI includes a logic chip that runs protection protocols to manage data traffic and minimize packet collisions. Additionally, power-limiting technology restricts the output of each CAT5e port to a maximum of 1000mA.
